Menodac 150 IU is a gonadotropin preparation containing menopausal gonadotrophin activity. It can be used in fertility programs to encourage development of ovarian follicles in women who require hormonal stimulation.

Menotropin therapy may also be incorporated into assisted reproductive techniques, where controlled stimulation is followed by further steps in the fertility protocol. In selected male patients, gonadotropin treatment may support sperm production.
